There’s been a lot going on.
Not necessarily one big thing that connects everything. Just a lot of stuff occupying our attention at LIMN lately. Shows we wish we were at. Films we actually went to see. Clothes we’ve screenshotted. Music we’re waiting for. And AI getting slightly more alarming every seven days.
So, Culture.
We have to start in Chicago.

CHICAGO, 2026
Ye. Soldier Field. September 3rd and 4th.
Yeah. We wanted to be there.
Everybody at LIMN has been looking at the footage and it genuinely looks like one of those shows that people are going to talk about for a long time. The scale of it. The crowd. The merch. The performance itself.
Then there’s that globe.
The globe is one for the decades.
It’s the kind of stage design where you see a photograph with no context and still want to know what happened there. We need to see that show in person.
AUS TAYLOR
Big props to Aus Taylor and, obviously, everybody involved in actually bringing that whole world together. A show on that scale is never one person, so whoever was responsible for each piece of it, geniuses.
Ye also gave love to MJ during the Chicago run, which felt particularly fitting considering Michael has been occupying quite a lot of our attention lately too.
Hopefully Ye keeps taking the show around the world and more people actually get to experience it.
We’ve got some Ye-referenced spirit shirts coming into LIMN too, so keep an eye on that section.
Anyway. Cinema.
We’ve had a good little run lately.

We went to see The Odyssey in IMAX.
Now, before somebody corrects us, no, we don’t think we saw it in the proper, final-boss version of IMAX.
Only a tiny number of UK cinemas were showing the full IMAX 70mm presentation, so although IMAX was definitely written on our ticket, we weren’t watching that version.
Still.
Bloody hell.
Christopher Nolan stepped up again.
It’s exactly the sort of thing we love about going to the cinema. Big film. Proper imagery. Texture. Scale. Grain. Something that actually benefits from you leaving the house and sitting in front of a ridiculous screen for nearly three hours.
The cast was great. Even the little unexpected appearances worked for us. Nothing felt like it needed to drag you out of the film just to make sure you’d noticed somebody.
And visually, this stuff always finds its way back into LIMN somewhere.
Not in the sense that we watch The Odyssey and suddenly make an Odyssey T-shirt.
More the image itself.
The texture. The way something is framed. How much grain you can get away with. How an image feels when it isn’t clinically clean. That stuff feeds back into our edits, our photography, how we shoot clothes and how we want LIMN to look.
That’s probably why we make so many T-shirts about the things we genuinely like in the first place.
Then Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Visually? Top tier.
Graphically? Top tier.
Story? We really enjoyed it.
And Tom Holland versus Tobey might genuinely have to become a conversation now.
I’m not saying he’s eclipsed Tobey Maguire for me.
Yet.
But if you argued it, I wouldn’t tell you that you were crazy either. Tom is giving him a serious run for his money. Maybe I’m just running off nostalgia at this point. Those Tobey films are excellent. These Tom Holland films are excellent.
No shade to anybody else. I’m just highlighting my favourite.
We don’t know if we’re doing any Spider-Man tees yet either. It needs to be the right one. The right graphic, the right feeling. We don’t want to make something just because Spider-Man exists.
But visually there is a lot there.
And before that, there was Michael.

We liked Michael.
You can absolutely have your critiques about the storyline and the way certain things were presented. We’re not pretending there aren’t conversations around it.
But as a film and as something we went to the cinema to experience, we enjoyed it.
Which brings us conveniently, for once, to an actual LIMN T-shirt.
We’ve just dropped the Michael Jackson Feet Tee, courtesy of our good friend J putting the idea in our heads.
The graphics pull from those instantly recognisable MJ movements, right down to the glitter shoes.
One of those ideas where once J said it, it just made sense.
Elsewhere in music, we’re waiting on Drake.

FOMO.
Album? Tape? Playlist? Tour? Something else entirely?
We still don’t really know.
And that’s actually part of why we’re interested.
There is one thing we do know now. September 15. YouTube. 9PM. Apparently we’re finding out something.
We’re not sitting on the Drake subreddit decoding every post, so from where we’re standing it still feels pretty under wraps. We haven’t had the whole thing spoiled by hearing half the project six months before it arrives.
Whatever FOMO ends up being, we’re listening.
Now, completely elsewhere…
Willy Chavarria x UGG.
We did not see this coming.
All-black leather. High boots. Low boots. Slip-ons. Buckles. Metal. Some fairly crazy shapes.
Not for everybody.
We like them though.
Some of these with the right LIMN tee and joggers? Yeah.
You need to be able to pull the boots off first, obviously. We can’t help you there.
But it’s another one of those collaborations that makes you look twice because neither side has just played it completely safe. Statement pieces, definitely.
Then Justin Bieber has SKYLRK moving into electronics.

This keeps happening.
Fashion brands start making things that aren’t really fashion anymore. Speakers. Headphones. Objects. Furniture. Whatever comes next.
And now we’ve got Hailey Bieber casually appearing in these almost-colourless, almost-Y2K-looking SKYLRK earphones.
Which obviously begs the important question:
What is next for LIMN?
LIMN-inspired colourless headphones?
I don’t know.
I don’t even know what colourless means when you’re talking about headphones.
But you get the point.
It’s interesting watching a clothing world slowly become an object world. A brand doesn’t necessarily have to end where the wardrobe ends.
We’ll see.
And then there’s AI.
Again.

Actually, before AI takes all the credit, can we talk about the robots?
Because it’s been a funny couple of weeks.
First we had the Robot Olympics in Beijing. Robots racing each other, breaking records, falling over, getting back up and generally making the whole thing look halfway between a technology conference and something we would have watched on Cartoon Network twenty years ago.
One of them ran the 100 metres in 8.64 seconds.
Eight point six four.
So apparently running away is already off the table.
Now they’re fighting.
And not even politely.
We’re watching robots throw Ong-Bak knees at each other like somebody has already unlocked the Mortal Kombat finishing moves.
Again, what a time to be alive.
At this point these LIMN Culture posts might accidentally become documentation of AI and robotics for somebody reading them in the future.
If you’re reading this in 2036, hello.
Hopefully everything worked out.
Because right now the alarm level seems to raise slightly every week.
Exciting. Crazy. Scary. Useful. Sometimes ridiculous.
A whole bunch of emotions at once.
The new generation of AI tools are getting to the point where you see things being produced in one shot that would have taken somebody a serious amount of time not very long ago. 3D work. Development. Imagery. Entire pieces of digital infrastructure.
Sometimes you look at it and think somebody could one-shot half a digital startup soon.
Then Google will inevitably show something else.
Then somebody else responds.
And the cycle continues.
We’re obviously going to use this stuff where it genuinely makes us better. It would be stupid not to.
But there’s something we’re quite protective of too.
Keeping the taste of the people.
The photographers. Designers. People making the clothes. People finding the references. People who know why one image feels right and another one doesn’t. People who have actually listened to the record, watched the film, worn the clothes, been somewhere, done something.
Use the tools. Enhance what we’re doing.
Don’t let the tool become the reason we’re doing it.
Hopefully we can keep steering that through LIMN WORLD, LIMN Culture, LIMN Radio, the clothes and whatever else LIMN eventually becomes.
Anyway.
That’s what’s been occupying our attention lately.
